Dnyandeep Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Khed, (Ratnagiri), the leading and renowned Educational Institute, was established on 25th March 1999, an auspicious day of Ram Navami.
Dnyandeep Vidya Mandir – The School - started with Jr. / Sr. K.G., 1st, 5th and 8th classes on 7 June 1999.
A Plot of land (approximate 45000 sq. ft) gifted by two members of the Institute.
In March 2000 Construction of the secondary school building started and completed in just 100 days and School classes shifted to new building in July 2000.
In due course, construction work of 20 classrooms was completed.
·School Naming ceremony was performed by the auspicious hands of Dr. Jayraj Phatak – I.A.S. Secretary, Maharashtra State Secondary School Education on 29 June 2002.
Jr.College (Science Stream) started next year with well equipped Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. Soon the Construction of multipurpose hall and Jr. College building was completed,
In 2006 Construction of full-fledged I.T. Lab and Jr. College (Commerce) wing completed.
The Institute obtained First Rank in Ratnagiri District Sane Guruji Quality Improvement Mission 2006 conducted by Ratnagri Zilla Parishad Secondary Education Department, Second rank in Kolhapur Division for Clean, Beautiful and Active School Competition conducted by Dy. Director of Education, Kolhapur Division.
In June 2007 Ours was One and the only One School with A+ Grade in Sane Guruji Quality Improvement Mission 2007 in Ratnagiri district.
In June 2008 Dnyandeep Group of Schools became ISO-9001 : 2000 certified Schools. This was First in Konkan region.
In June 2009 Beginning of Dnyandeep College of (Science & Commerce)
After two years, Dnyandeep Career Academy was started for the benefits of the students. June 2013 marks the beginning of Dnyandeep English Medium School. (Primary, Secondary & Higher Secondary) at Morvade-Boraj campus.
In April 2015 Preparatory B.A., B.A., B.Com., M. Com., introduced.
Soon Bifocal Computer Science Subject was introdued as an optional subject for XI and XII Sc students.
Morvande-Boraj campus is equipped with 16 KVA Solar System.
Construction of the DEMS Primary School building was Completed in September 2016.
The College Campus is situated along Mumbai-Goa National Highway 66, just 9 km away from Khed city and 7 km away from Khed Railway Station. (Please refer Maps link above).
The Institute is a Trust. The membership consists of Doctors, Engineers, Wholesale/Retail Merchants, Hoteliers and the Social Workers in Education field.
The President of the Trust is Mr Arvind B Todkari , a Municipal councilor and Ex President, Khed Municipal Council.
The General Secretary of the Trust is Mr Prakash P Gujarathi, Ex- officer from State Bank of India and a Social Worker in Educational field.
Mr Deepak J Laddha is the Chairman of the Governing Council of Dnyandeep College.
